Two of our Primary 7 classes (Mrs Heatherington's and Mrs Deeney's) took part in the 'Amazing Brains' workshop on Wednesday.
A day filled with fun activities and interesting information to improve how they work their brains and memories and grow their mindsets.
They made neurones, created message pathways and looked at how to best feed and nurture their brains.
They learned how to connect and make conversation with others, worked on their negotiating and presenting skills, built up a bank of good study habits and completed memory challenges and riddle races.
Lots of great things to help them feel more confident and capable on the next part of their learning journeys in their post primary schools.
Some even showcased some hidden talents that no doubt will lead them to many future successes.
