Today Briana and Kelly from Jamdac Construction visited the Primary Four children to talk about an interesting housing development coming to Cookstown. Last term the children learned all about ‘Houses and Homes’ as part of their World Around Us topic. The children talked with Kelly and Briana about the people needed to build houses, the materials they might use and the types of houses in our local area. Briana and Kelly invited the children to design their own safety poster for the construction site coming to Cookstown. They also tasked the children with coming up with a name for the housing development! It was such an exciting afternoon! Thanks so much to the ladies for the merchandise too! 🏠
