Today, Primary 6 had the privilege of hosting Aoife from Microsoft Ireland, who delivered an engaging Hour of Code session. We explored how coding commands in the workspace translate into actions in the game window. We discussed the advantages of using events in coding and saw how altering a block of code can impact the game’s behavior. Following her guidance, we created our own games by adding sprites, backgrounds, and code. It was a fantastic learning experience, and we’re very grateful to Aoife for sharing her expertise with us. There are many future game developers among us!
