P5 War Museum
13th May 2024
Hannah from the Northern Ireland War Musuem visited Primary 5 today to talk to the children about World War Two. The talk focused on the Blitz and the life on the Home Front. She talked about the ''threat of war'' and the preparations that were made in advance of an attack. She brought some interesting artefacts for the children to examine. The children participated fully in the workshop and were able to display their knowledge by answering Hannah's questions. Many thanks to Hannah and the War Musuem for this fantastic workshop.
The P5 year group are now looking forward to their visit to Killymoon Castle to commemorate D-Day on 31st May.
