We have been so busy in Primary 1 looking for signs of Autumn in our school environment. There were so many leaves of many different colours lying on the ground and we even saw some leaves falling from the trees. The ground is like a carpet of red, brown, yellow and orange leaves and it is just beautiful. We could hear the leaves crunch when we walked on them. The magnifying glasses helped us to look more closely at all the different signs of Autumn that we found. We have also been learning about the parts of the tree; trunk, branches and leaves. In our Outdoor Play Area we made our own trees using branches, sticks, twigs and leaves that we found. We have also enjoyed leaf printing and Autumn Art in our class Art Area.
