A busy week in ASC & LSC ⭐️🐝

11th Oct 2024
The Learning Support and Autism Specific Centres have had a very busy week, both inside and outside their classrooms. The boys and girls have been working very hard developing their Literacy and Numeracy skills through their individualised programmes of work. Across our LSC and ASC rooms we use a multi-sensory approach when learning new concepts which involves both practical and written activities. Each child receives the opportunity to develop their knowledge and understanding using methods that best suit their individual learning styles. ⭐️🐝

Every afternoon, the children take part in Activity Based Learning. This provides them with the opportunity to visit the other classrooms and teachers, and participate in carousel activities involving Art, STEM, ICT, and Meditation and Wellbeing. The children look forward to taking part in lots of fun and practical learning that helps to develop their understanding. It is also a great opportunity for them to develop their social skills with the boys and girls from the other LSC/ASC classes.
